Our Stud Dogs

Ripley is one of the cornerstones of my team. A true all-rounder, not one that can do a little bit of everything, but a dog that excels in working large mobs and smaller numbers, both in the field and inside the fences. A very pleasant and loyal character, a strong athletic build, and great stamina. Good focus, always with his head in the work.

Dodge is a stylish, strong, well-built male. Fluent in his movement, always focused on his work. Strong heading, very good herding dog.
Works large and small mobs, effective outrun, natural balance. I also use him frequently for demonstrations because of the calm, strength, and beautiful style he displays.
Grandson of Shepherds (ND) Bonnie, son of Shepherds (ND) Joan, making him a third-generation Shepherds dog, and with good reason.



 

Muster is a male with an excellent feel for his stock, a great outrun without losing contact with his animals, and a strong walk-in, with bark when necessary.
Strong heading dog. Excellent temperament, calm and sensible. He gets along well with other dogs—males, females, and puppies. Very well-mannered and gentle with children.
Muster works cattle, sheep, and chickens.
A very good, strong dog; brings new blood and genetics due to his Australian imported parents.

Wyatt is a young red-and-tan male with a fantastic character. He is very loyal and social with people and other dogs. He is a fairly direct working dog that loves moving stock. Strong build, works sheep and cattle.

Irinka(ND) Jack, (Pomanda Bloke x Winesland(UK) Megs) born 03-12-2003 - deceased July 2019 (owned and worked by Catrinus)

Jack set the bar very high regarding the qualities we look for in a good working dog.
He taught us a great deal about the character of a good working dog, instinct, and stock sense.
A paddock-type dog with natural balance, strong yet effective heading, useful bark, superb footwork, and positioning.
Unmatched stamina, he accomplished a tremendous amount of work during daily duties, demonstrations, trials, stock handling clinics at other locations, etc.
He helped me out of a bind many times when a job wasn't running smoothly.
At the age of 14, Jack decided to retire!
In July 2019, we had to put him to sleep at the age of 15.5 years. He lives on through his progeny and we cherish his contribution to our stud.
